Janice has worked on several endeavors related to my home in Westerly. I am happy to share my experiences and observations.
Janice takes the time to listen and ask questions in order to understand what I’m looking to achieve. She applies her design and creative talents and sensibilities to make recommendations and source solutions. Her eye for color, shape, pattern and space contributes to the success of all types of projects.
When my family and I moved to Westerly, we brought with us many cherished furnishings. Janice helped me turn my house into a home. We went room by room assessing how to work with my favorites and what to add to complete the right look and feeling. She has picked out paint colors that I truly love to this day. The same is true for the furniture and lighting she found for me. In the rooms with high ceilings on the main floor, the drapery Janice oversaw, are stand out touches. She was also here for the installation, which is invaluable. We have done upholstery work as well so I can say that the quality and selection of fabric and the vendors that Janice works with are outstanding.
For our 2-story foyer, Janice reviewed the art I had acquired over the years and saw a theme that even I didn’t realize was there. She selected which pieces to include in order to create a gallery and drew a blueprint for there placement. She met with the framer and I to carefully choose the frames for each and every piece. She was here for the installation and guided the placement to ensure success.
The bottom line is that Janice is a consummate professional designer. She has impeccable standards for quality and exquisite design talent. Importantly, Janice knows the business. She has the right disposition and personality to interface with her clients and her vendors. She works with the best available companies, products, and specialists to create the best possible decor. I feel fortunate that our paths have crossed and I recommend her abilities for helping to bring to life people’s dreams for their homes and businesses.
